Bada Sushi in Suffern

Awesome food and service! The drinks were great too 😊🎉 We had avocado fries, Sake, Lychee martini and Udon noodles with vegetables!

Incredibly fresh sushi and a creative chef with interesting combination and beautiful presentation. Rotating selection of unique beers is also a reason to keep coming back.

Good ambiance, really good food, nice and extravagant cocktails, the crew is super friendly. This place would be a hit anywhere.

GREAT Sushi spot, perfect for take out, dine in , or sitting at the bar. Nice layout and great selection, always fresh and good service. I have only come here for lunch purposes and its always good service and quality food.My fave when dining in is the fried ice cream.My fave roll is the spicy tuna, and the tuna love roll.I say give it a try !

Overall overpriced. Quantity to price ratio was poor. Servers made mistakes. Food _was_ tasty, however.

The few who complained about service must have hit the pipe or had a night or the whole staff got the swine flu. Service is fantastic and attentive and this is bar none the best sushi in Rockland and arguably outside of Manhattan. Phenomenal drinks and everything on the menu is unparalleled in taste and quality. Play Suffern roll is simply amazing and presentation of flaming smoked salmon tabletop smoking is amazing. Nothing compares to this place... nothing.

One of the best sushi in Rockland. I’ve only gone for takeout and the quality is really great! It looks like really nice place and definitely date night worthy.

The taste of the sushi was ok, but their service was awful. We got yelled at for asking about our food after waiting for 45 minutes, despite it being lunchtime, and despite the restaurant being fairly empty (about 8 people when we came in).Their selection was disappointing.Their menu seems to highlight alcohol, so maybe it's better during dinner time.Update: three out of the seven people got stomach pains a couple hours after eating here. I cannot recommend going here, even for dinner.

Food and drinks were excellent. Server was friendly but slow to take orders, and get drinks. Prices were reasonable. If you have the time, and don't mind waiting, it's well worth it!

The Hispanic waiter does a great job, also the waitress. Overall, great service, great food and an amazing experience! Will definitely be coming back.

Best sushi bar far in Rockland County. The drinks here are crafted beautifully, the fish is always amazing, and the starters are delicious and go beyond the norm. Make sure to make a reservation!

The food is good but not consistent. People are nice but the seating is all very close together. There is a hunch of open floor space that could be used

I used to go here all the time when I lived in suffern now I like about an hour south in branchburg nj and have yet to find a sushi restaurant that compares. The new location is absolutely beautiful and the new bar matches the quality and creativity of the sushi!

Great for take out or eat in. Check out their special rolls they are a must try!

Nice place and good food

We came to this restaurant for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.

Excellent sushi place, one of our local favorites. They are reopened now and are accepting reservations for dining, please support the local businesses in Suffern. It's a quaint little town with some amazing restaurants and small businesses with Sushi Bada being the best in my opinion

We eat dine here frequently. The rolls are fresh and exciting. Sashimi selection is incredible. The staff is extremely welcoming. David always greets us by name. You can’t get a bad meal here if you tried.

Best sushi in the area. Great service. Comfortable but nice atmosphere. Don’t be afraid of traditional sushi / maki their fish is fresh and fabulous. (That is to say, it doesn’t need to be disguised by rolls and all the flavors - though those are good too). What I’m trying to say is, you can’t go wrong.

I came here last night and it was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER. I waited to be seated at a table and in the mean time I ordered a cocktail. The cocktail took 25 minutes to arrive, and it was not even good.After that, we ordered food and get this... They GAVE ME A PLASTIC FORK TO EAT WITH!!!! AT A PLACE LIKE SUSHI BADA A PLASTIC FORK!! The manager (a woman and a man) are horrible at their jobs.

The food was incredible! Fresh fish, creative combos, good service. The town of Suffern is cute and walkable, too.

My husband and I had lunch there. The food was great. It was clean, great service. My only issue was that the amount of food you get in relation to what you pay for is not great. I ordered the sushi platter and each piece of fish was no bigger than the size of a quarter and some smaller than a nickel. I left feeling hungry.

I got the worst services ever from a Japanese restaurant. The waitress who served us has an accent(no offense), so we didn't get what she was saying at first. Then she raised her voice to a level pretty much like yelling at us. And she did exactly the same thing again when she took our order. The funny part was that she was being so "normal" while serving people sitting on table next to us. I was nice enough to still give 15% tips, because she sent another waiter to serve our food. But her service worths not even a penny. Warning! Minorities if you want to be yelled at, this place is your top one choice. And ask for the waitress with short haircut.

I really liked this place. The only thing that would make it even better is white tuna. I had the Ish roll in the Angry Shrimp Roll, both were excellent. Definitely a go-to place.

Excellent sushi joint. Classy place, great rolls. Meals come with miso soup and salad, both excellent. Mochi ice cream is light and delicious.

Been here three times in a month. Great food and the atmosphere is awesome. I love the soft shell crab and the negimaki appetizers. I was there recently and my friend ordered way to much food and a server was really concerned that we didn't like the food. Nope, just went a little too crazy on the apps because they looked so good! I do agree that the drinks are a little pricey. Also there was one time I was sitting at the bar and waited for a good ten minutes before any interaction. Bartender was answering phone call after phone call for take out orders. A bartender should be your diamond of customer service. However, bartender was very nice once she took my order.

When I first visited, the server made a mistake with my order where he mixed up the check with another table's and couldn't remember what we had. The food however, was amazing. So, even with that initial impression, I've been back and am a devoted fan of Sushi Bada. The fish is super fresh, the rolls are super interesting, and the vibe is great. I love their drinks and the bartender is very skilled. You will love it!

Great service, great atmosphere, food was amazing.

Very slow in food delivery, almost to the point of ridiculous. Spicy rolls a little too sweet. I am not a fan of the presence of so much sugar in japanese cuisine.

The best sushi. Favorite place to dine when I am back in Northern Northern Jersey. Fresh ingredients. The staff is alert and friendly. Management and owners know how to execute service at the highest level. Yuzu Mule..yes please.

Great sushi, some unique items. Fried avocado was a nice interesting menu item, boom boom shrimp was really tasty. Service was OK, but we had a table of 14 so I give that rating a break. Food arrived quickly. All in all definitely worth a visit.

We love this restaurant. They have a great selection of special rolls, with combo pricing for meals made up of your choice of rolls. For sushi lovers, try out the "Trust Me" meal. Doing that led to one of the best sushi meals I've had anywhere!

I love this place the food and drinks are phenomenal. The place is very NYC style, clean and romantic. They never disappointed me in the past with their old location and their new location is even better. The service is great and again the food is always awesome. This place is also very busy even on weekdays so people enjoy it.

Bartender and drinks were incredible- smoked glasses, roasting fresh pineapple and fresh juices- taste was fantastic! Food was delicious too.

Some food items were very good, others just so so. Service was friendly but too busy for good attention even though it wasn't completely occupied. Food came to our group with odd timing. Some had to wait a long time for their order while others had already finished their plates. The manager did apologize. Prices were a little high for what was offered. Cheap paper napkins, scrap metal forks...I will probably go back, but with different expectations. Definitely wouldn't recommend to a friend.

It was excellent! The best sushi restaurant in Rockland! Rhe food is way beyond the standard and beautiful interior design. Out side building needs some work. It looks like it's closed but otherwise everthing was good.

Great spot. Fish is fresh, and clean tasting. Rolls aren't heavy on the rice with lots of the good stuff. The flavors were fresh with pop and zing, while the eel I had was creamy and caramelized nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful - and the sushi chefs were informative and talented I gave them my favorite flavors and let them take it from there - and I was not disappointed. Also the pondsuit sauce was great! Which is always a big plus for me Chill vibe overall - classy - good spot for a date or business meeting. Pricing is on the higher side but well worth it, they do not skimp on quality.

Sushi Bada is, by far, one of the top sushi restaurants in North Jersey. The sushi dishes are ALWAYS fresh and have a creative flare to them. A hidden gem, the decor is stylish, and in an area like Suffern, this place really stands out. Below are three of my favorite apps. I also recommend the sashimi sampler, and any of the rice bowl dishes. The staff are always attentive.

Food is really good here, and the variety is great. There is enough of a balance between classic sushi fare and more modern sushi specialties. However, we recently went with a party of 14 with days advanced notice. They made us wait almost 30 minutes past the reservation and the service was terrible! The manager did nothing to help the new waitress and after the server dropped some drinks and shattered glass everywhere, we didn’t order till almost an hour after siting. All in all it was a 3 hour plus experience with great food.
